MILITARY DISCOUNT: A military discount of $30.00 per trip is available upon request during Peak Season. Holding the Line Guide Service is a veteran owned small business (West Point Class of 1991, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 1991-1999). I provide a $30.00 per trip discount on any Peak Season trip attended by veterans of any uniformed service (retired or separated), service academy cadets, college ROTC cadets, active duty personnel, reserve component personnel, and National Guard component personnel. This discount may not be combined with any other discounts (i.e. a referral discount) and does not apply to Children's Fishing Trips or Off-Peak Season trips.

REFERRAL DISCOUNT: Beginning 01 January 2012, when you refer a friend who takes a guided trip with me, you will receive a $40 discount towards your next Adult Trip. This referral credit may not be combined with any other discounts (i.e. a military discount) and does not apply to Children's Fishing Trips.

GIFT CERTIFICATES: Gift certificates are available year 'round and may be delivered to you electronically or in hardcopy. Discounts (i.e. referral or military discounts) cannot be honored for gift certificate purchases. No credit, change or refunds will be given for gift certificates. Gift certificates are good for 1 year from date of purchase.

DEPOSITS: A flat, reasonable $50 deposit applies to all trips. This is your earnest money letting me know you will show up at the time agreed upon, and that I can take your date off the market. Deposits may be made using PayPal after we coordinate a trip date and time by phone or e-mail.

PAYMENT - Your balance will be due on the day of your trip. Cash is always preferred. Sorry, no checks are accepted from first-time customers. If you intend to pay you balance via a Credit Card or PayPal, this transaction must be finalized before the day of the trip. I cannot accept PayPal "at the dock".

CANCELLATION POLICY
For cancellations made 14 days or more before your scheduled trip date, you may transfer your deposit in full by booking another available date within 60 days of the originally booked date, or you may elect to recoup 80% of your deposit (i.e. $80 of a $100 deposit); the remaining 20% of the deposit will be forfeited. Sorry, no exceptions.

For cancellations made less than 14 days before your arrival, you may transfer your deposit in full by booking another available date within 60 days of the originally booked date, or you may elect to forfeit your entire deposit. Sorry, no exceptions.

For cancellations on previously re-booked dates, the entire deposit will be forfeited. Sorry, no exceptions.

Weather cancellations will be made at the guide's discretion. We fish year 'round in extreme heat and cold, and in the rain (in fact foul weather often makes for very good fishing). We will not fish when high winds, electrical storms, or frozen precipitation are threatening. Trips cancelled on account of weather at the guide's discretion may either be rebooked or have the full deposit refunded, at the client's option.
